Litigation

  • What it is:
    • Sadly, not all disputes can be resolved without court intervention. If mediation is unsuccessful, these disputes will end up in arbitration or a court of law. The services of an attorney can help a person navigate through this complicated process. Specifically, a lawyer can help counsel an individual on drafting a lawsuit, deciding where to file the lawsuit, managing the often-times complex discovery process and ultimately representing the client in hearings or at trial. A decision at hearing or trial may not be the end of the matter. Decisions are often appealed and a lengthy appellate process can ensue.
  • What we do:
    • All of the attorneys associated with HemmingLaw have significant litigation experience. We can greatly assist a client throughout the court process and help a client make appropriate and economical decisions as the case makes its way through the court system. At the end of a trial, we can assist the client in making important decisions regarding any final court order.
